Our Story
The Movement Project was founded by three best friends with diversely different dance backgrounds who wanted to create a space where dance is accessible to anyone.
Whether you are someone who wants a supportive, highly competitive dance team, or someone who has never taken a dance class before and wants to learn the basics, or someone who is looking for a high energy workout after a long day, we’ve got you covered. We priotize the dancer and their individual paths with our various programs.
At The Movement Project, we are one of the only studios in the front range that offer a student choreography program, a hip hop only competitive team, a junior faculty program and adult dance classes. Our goal is to mesh movement, artistry and passion to create a supportive and uplifting environment where anyone can shine.

Meet the Team
Kaylee Morrison
Co Founder/ Artistic Director/ Choreographer

Kaylee’s love for dance started at the young age of 4 in her hometown of Roseville, CA. She trained at a pre-professional conservatory where she studied many different styles including ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary. Kaylee found her passion for choreography at the age of 13 when she choreographed her first solo. With the help of a dance and an academic scholarship, Kaylee was fortunate enough to attend Marymount Manhattan College in New York City where she obtained a B.F.A with a concentration in Choreography. While in New York, Kaylee had the opportunity to train under some of the finest instructors and choreographers such as Doug Varone, Sidra Bell, Megan Williams, Kaite Langan and many more.
After graduating and moving to Colorado, Kaylee found her love for teaching. She has been teaching various styles of dance and choreographing award winning pieces since 2016. Her greatest joys lie in nurturing all dancers, instilling in them a love for dance, and advocating for the myriad benefits it brings both within and beyond the studio walls, which shine through in our Teacher Assistant, Junior Faculty and Student Choreography programs.

Hannah Sullivan
Teacher/ choreographer

Hannah started her dance journey at 4 in Ankeny, IA, and continued once she moved to IL. Through the years she studied many styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, as well as Irish dancing. She found love in choreographing and teaching at the age of 16 after being asked to step up in a directorial position for her childhood theater program. She had the privilege of choreographing several shows over the years and found extreme joy in the process.
In college studying early education, Hannah joined her PA university’s studio-style club in which she taught Beginner Jazz, Broadway Jazz, and in her senior year was elected Company Captain to choreograph Jazz and Contemporary numbers for dancers who wanted more of a challenge and more dancing experiences in the club. This is where she grew her confidence in herself as a dancer and an instructor. She knew she wanted to create a welcoming yet challenging place for dancers to express themselves.
After finishing school, Hannah found herself in Colorado excited to teach both the building blocks of dance and also a passion for the arts. She loves getting to see dancers grow each day and be their authentic selves.
